Elizabeth Bodnar was born in Palocz (Pavlovce nad Uhom) in 1902. I found out while visiting her niece in Slovakia that she is one of 14 children in her family and she is the 2nd youngest. Elizabeth (Alzbeta) came to the U.S. in May of 1926 but I’m not sure how she got to Cleveland. Her Ellis Island record says she was heading to Murray City, Ohio.
Elizabeth married Joseph Kicka in 1929 in Cleveland, Ohio.
